COVID-19 UPDATE

SUNDAY MASS OBLIGATION RE-IMPOSED

 

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,Re: COVID-19 (Coronavirus) UpdateOn 20 March 2020, Catholics from the Diocese of Parramatta were dispensed from their Sunday Mass obligation until further notice (Canon 1248 §2 and Catechism 2181) by virtue of a Decree issued by Bishop Vincent Long Van Nguyen OFM Conv.From 15 December 2021, this Decree is now revoked and the Sunday obligation is now imposed once again given that public health orders no longer require adherence to density limits in our church buildingsYours sincerely in Christ,Very Rev Peter G. On consideration of the most recent NSW Health advice, the Diocese of Parramatta highly recommends all worshippers at Masses in the Diocese to wear a mask to, during and from Mass and other services.

We understand the inconvenience that masks may pose, but the health of our parishioners and the wider community is our highest concern. We sincerely thank you for understanding, and for playing your part in keeping our community safe.

SUNDAY
8:00 am & 10:00 am

RECONCILIATION

Reconciliation times are by appointment on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm, before the vigil mass. 

Please enter through the side door access from the seminary and please sanitise your hands and register your details as soon as you enter the church.
